Body and Breath Awareness
The body is a part of space that you identify with yourself. When you fully become aware of the body the cognition of space changes.
The breath is the internal rythm that connects you to time. When you eliminate the pause between inhalation and exhalation the cognition of time changes.
Regarding the body and to understand how to go beyond 3 dimensional space 5 topics have to be studied carefully:
-
Proprioception - The sense of self in space
-
(Bio)Tensegrity - The hidden principle of interconnectedness
-
Fascia - The sensory organ of proprioception
-
Hydration - Body water compartments and water quality
-
Subtle Body - The missing link between mind and body
The first four topics are necessary to understand the 5th topic that connects all the other four together. These are the foundations of body awareness and stillness.
To realize what the breath truly is, stillness of the body is required. The subtle internal movements of the life force are otherwise obscured by external movements and imbalances.
